Benin’s greatest supergroup, Poly-Rythmo created their self-styled “vodou-funk” through a series of dynamite albums during the ‘70s. Documented on Soundway and Analog Africa compilations, the band finally returned to the studio in France in 2012 for their first internationally released album, ‘Cotonou Club’ for Strut.
